What is free to read
At A1, A2, B1, and B2 alike, the first two lessons of the first three sections are free. You can start at any level, so you can find the one that fits rather than being handed the beginning of the beginning.
About the Member plan
The Member plan is not for sale. ULU sets it for people taking private lessons, and it lasts as long as those lessons do: we extend it as the date comes round, and it returns to the free plan if the classes stop.

Questions
- Can I read a lesson without registering?
- The catalogue is open to everyone — you can see every level and what each lesson covers. Reading a lesson itself takes an account.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and then return to the free plan. Nothing you have already read is taken away.
- What happens if I stop taking private lessons?
- A Member grant runs to a date and returns to the free plan unless it is extended. You can move to a paid plan at any point.
